MARY BETH THOMPSON
is the paralegal for the Balamuth
Harrington firm. She was born and
raised in St. Joseph, Missouri and
attended high school in Connecticut.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in
both political science and art
history from Williams College in
1982.

Mary Beth moved to California in
1982 and worked briefly in
journalism before joining the staff
of an Oakland, California law firm
where she began working as a paralegal, primarily in the areas of construction, professional negligence and personal injury litigation.

She has worked with Barry Balamuth since 1983. Since 1986, she has worked solely on behalf of plaintiffs’ attorneys and values the opportunity to contribute daily to the work of attaining equitable compensation for injured people.
