Who We Are - Our History

Barry Balamuth founded our firm with a strong sense of doing the right thing by representing injured people against big insurance companies. The firm has always been about using skill and empathy to help real people whose lives have taken a difficult turn as a result of someone else's fault.

Since its inception, Balamuth Harrington, LLP has exclusively represented plaintiffs and has been devoted to recovering for the injured and civilly wronged. In 1991, Barry opened the Law Offices of Barry Balamuth. In 1994, his daughter Kelly graduated from law school and joined the practice, which became the law firm Balamuth & Balamuth. Kelly and Barry practiced together for 10 years. In 2002, they were happy to welcome Jim Yu into the practice and the next year, they welcomed Molly Harrington.

Over the years, this firm has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of the victims of automobile collisions, premises liability, dog bites, construction accidents, medical negligence, legal negligence, and accountant negligence. We do not shy from going to court on behalf of our clients, and the insurance companies that we deal with know it.
